Uploading/File Question?

Whenever I upload a .mid (MIDI file), it won't play. I'm not sure what exactly happens to the file, since it plays fine on my hard drive. I've checked the name, tried uploading it to the main part of my website (I originally uploaded it to a small folder for testing on a layout), and deleted and re-uploaded it a few times. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Ahhhh, nevermind. Believe it might've had something to do with the connection between my computer and my headset, but eh, it works now ^_^;;;

So yeah, feel free to ignore this problem ^_^;;
