Hi,
We are now accepting applications for beta testers of our upcoming spam
filtering system. There are a limited number of slots available for
testers. We will be accepting applications until Friday 03/26/2004
11:59:00PM EST. Interested parties should read the following guidelines
and instructions:
1.) DO NOT send in tickets about this. Any tickets received from you
about this will prevent you from participating in this project.
2.) The HostRocket staff will not be accepting any support request on
this subject. This includes email, phone calls, and the trouble ticket
system. All questions and issues will be resolved via methods specific
to this program.
3.) You acknowledge and accept that this is a BETA program. There
are no guarantees to protect against loss of service or email.
4.) Participation in a project specific discussion mailing list is
required.
Here are the skills and requirements needed to participate in the
project:
1.) You are able to configure your mail client without any outside help.
2.) You receive an average minimum of 20 emails per day at the address
that will be used for this project. In other words, the email address
you be using for daily communication.
3.) You must have the ability to read and display email headers in your
email client program.
4.) Your ISP supplies you with a static IP address. This is not the IP
address for your domain with HostRocket. This is the one you are
assigned from your ISP when you connect to the Internet.
5.) You must have an email account not hosted by HostRocket for
communications in regards to this project.
What we need from you:
1.) Your IP Address as stated above.
2.) The average number of emails you receive per day.
3.) Your domain name and postmaster password.
4.) Send this information from the non-hosted email address as outlined
above to spambetatest@hostrocket.com
If you do not include all the information requested above, your
application will not be accepted. The right to participate in this
project will be determined solely at the discretion of the HostRocket
mail administrators.
