Same issue here. I believe it's related to the XXX toolbar issue that some of us had, at least I noticed this when they said they were fixing host42, the MySQL problem. All my databases and in turn tables are gone.

phew. Thats a relief. I was worried I was gonna have to start over again. Thats one thing I like is the great speedy response time of this host. Its alot better than other sites I've used. I'm also glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. Well not glad people have to go through it. But glad that its generally acknowledged and being worked on.

This is now the 5th time my forums have been down from my noticing. I have gotten quite a few more emails saying they are down from different people. I was told before the problem was fixed anyone got a clue what is going on?

My databases have been off and on the last 4 days and so far I haven't received any notification from Hostrocket about the problems. They do respond to my trouble tickets with a standard canned response but never offer any details as to what is going on. Its getting frustrating not knowing why the databases aren't working 24/7, why do they work for a few hours and then go down again.

If anyone has more info it would be great to know.

Still having issues myself. I just sent in my final notice about this problem. If they can't get this worked out today then I'm looking elsewhere. I can't tolerate this any longer.

I take it I'm on host 42 then. Hmmm I wonder if we can get an explanation to whats wrong. Are they able to fix it and how long should we expect?

I agree - it would be nice to know the progress on the resolution of a problem.

And as for what host you're on, that's in your welcome e-mail along with at www.rocketsupport.com .

I see this now, however they need to be far more pro-active then reactive in these things. They could save themselves a hell of a lot of typing for tickets by emailing their customer base on 42 and saying, "Sorry, it's messed up, fixing it." then expecting customers to come here to check for a status. I know for a fact I'd be far less aggravated if they emailed me giving me a heads up instead of me having to send in a ticket or go to a network status area.

Damned if you do, damned if you dont.
If they took the time to email everyone Bob#2 would complain they arent working to fix the issue by wasting time emailing him.

If I'm paying for great service then I expect an email alerting me to the problem. If my store is not online then I'm not making any money. Its not that hard to send out a group email. I'm sure they could add a group email that includes everyone on 42. Not a hard thing to do instead of all of us trying to figure out whats wrong, when will it get fixed, etc.

I agree if this keeps happening then I'm looking elsewhere also.

This is Tuesday and these database problems began Friday. I'm sorry, but I'm finding five days to be completely unacceptable for this problem.

We are currently aware of all issues on host42 and are working to resolve them as quickly as possible.

How quick is "quickly as possible" anyway?
