Recently HR suspended my account with no prior warning. When I asked why I got this response:
Your account was suspended because you were receiving a very
large amount of traffic. This was causing load spikes and
other customers could not reach their websites. You will
need to upgrade toa semi-dedicated server.
Now, surprise, I can't afford $65 / month, and wrote back asking them to grant me access to my domain so that I could back up my databases. To which I got no answer. I have now mailed them 6 or 7 times, and am still not getting any replies, which I find incredibly strange, as they always usually respond within minutes, it has now been close to a week.
I am so upset and angry. I have been a good customer for over two years, I have recommended their services to several friends, and I have been renewing my domain through them even though it has been twice the price compared to other domain-registrars. And now I am getting no help whatsoever.
I still find it hard to believe that my domain was getting that many hits, but obviously, HR have not been able to give me any data on this (as they aren't getting back to me).
What am I to do?
