Hey you guy's.

Hope you can assist me on this one. First, I haven't ever used PHP in any way, don't know it and don't get it ;)

I have gotten the code from a friend to a shoutbox. A simple shoutbox supposed to be used inside an iframe, it uses the PHP function 'include();' to read the box onto the website. No databases are used with this script, just a single flat file...so I'm told.

Now what I need to know is how this works on this server. The txt file should go into a folder namned Shout, ok ? But is it as simple as to create this shoutfolder under www (where my indexfile is), put the txt file in there and the code in a iframe on the site....and it's away ? If I have made myself informed enough, there is PHP support on HR, right ? Does that come even with the free domain ? Is it just to smack it up there and it'll work...providing I do it right, of course..

Patric.

Upload the File(s) and make sure they have the correct permissions (Read/Write/Excute) and it should all work.

PHP does work on the free accounts.

Hey, that's what I am here for. Well, actually I'm here because I got so addicted to the boards back when there was a contest going on, and I've never been able to break the habit. And I did win a free years worth of hosting, so this is my way of paying back HR for their generously.
