Tom,
I visited your site and looked at what you did. I have background as a network tech, using Windows, and no knowledge of programming. I'd rather click than code. If I could just copy a script and change one or two lines, with a for-dummies guide about which lines to change and how to change them, I'd have a chance.

This should be simpler:
There are a lot of free templates available, and I downloaded two of them. After unzipping the folders, the different parts of the template were all in separate files or folders, like a page with just a tool bar, or an image or buttons. Also, if you click on the buttons, there were different views and appearances. I could put upload a file, but I don't know what to do with it.
Is that the way a template is supposed to be, or is that just the shape things are in if you get them for free?

If you are using a template, you should upload all the files into the public_html file. If the template has an index.html file, that is what will be the main page. Of course you will have to modify things for a template.

Anyway, please try to keep this topic in one thread, and I think it really belongs in the Graphics & Design topic, or perhaps the php/mysql topic.

Good luck!;)
