I know stupid newbie question. But I do need help. I downloaded and set up WS_ftp . But it looks different from screen shots on Rockethost. I have a free account and I keep getting 530 longin incorrect. :/ So please someone help me what i'm doing wrong?

make sure your ftp, username, and pass is correct.. Make sure that your ftp is configured correctly. If that is all good, send in a TT.

I am not even sure that you can use anything besides hr's web ftp for free accounts

I had successfully login to my free account using filezilla FTP client So I think free domain account do had FTP login. It took a while for me to get the setting right. My mistake is that when the FTP ask for user I enter the user name that I use to sign up and I got 530 login incorrect. When I try using the login name that hostrocket supplied on the welcome email and all work fine now.

Wonder if you are having the same problem?
