I think we're going to try to use this to attempt to have some of our dj's do remote sessions. (The fact that one of the Dave's in the "dave and dave show" live 3000 miles from us.. is a small issue.

So we're going to try Skype.

Only problem: From the makers of kazaa.. and the quality ain't that great so far.

Ventrilo ain't cutting it, haven't tried teamspeak..

anyways, check it out!

Kind of cool software if you make a lot of long distance calls to the same number. How is the sound quality?

Yeah, that looks pretty cool and probably easier to interface with your streaming software than TeamSpeak (but TeamSpeak does have good quality - make sure to try it).

Problem with streaming audio is the delays. Its gonna be hard syncing the DJs voice with the music when he is on a remote site.

well - the app I use allows for 'what u hear' to be streamed. So basically if I can hear him talking - thats when hes being streamed.. so its pretty easy to keep our voices in sync.

TS at least has very little delay - about a second. I can tell this when one of my clan mates isn't using headphones and I hear myself about 2 seconds later.

well even on a phone there is some delay, i don't think that you can get around that
