Anybody know of any good GPS systems for laptops? Also, what is the best all-in-one application to use with GPS in WinXP?

I have been tinkering with the idea of getting a GPS for some time, I am very interested in the results of this thread.
Last I checked Garmin was the way to go, but that was a while ago.

Yea, I hear Garmin is the best for GPS. I also want a cool map type program so I can plot points and basically use it for a navigation system.

Yeah that I'm not sure about, I know there is Microsoft Streets and Trips or some such, but I can't speak to its quality or price.

I have a Garmin Rino 120. I'm *very* happy with both the unit and the software. The software isn't as good as the dedicated routing software, but it gets the job done. The best thing about the Garmin units is that you have a mapping GPS that's slightly bigger than a cellphone.
If you're going to use a GPS tethered to a laptop you might want to go with one of the DeLorme setups since they're built for that. I've used their Earthmate unit with a laptop and it's pretty impressive.
But Microsoft's Map Point regularly gets rated highest for mapping software.

Here is a suggestion that I am told is pretty good, the Deluo USB gps for laptops and fairly small.
