Since Zelda was announced on Nintendo 64? Guess Windwaker blew right by you then. That one was released this year, great game.

Been waiting for HL2 since I finished HL many years ago.
It will undoubtedly be one of the greatest games of all time with the way valve works with the MOD community.

You may have to wait a long time, last I heard it wasn't due out until Q3 this year... vs before Xmas last year. Oh well.

Where'd you hear that? I thought it was coming out in March.

I don't think it will be delayed that long. Valve isn't good with release dates but I doubt they will delay it this long.

This is a quote from Planet Half-Life, the official Fansite:
As for the release date... nobody really knows, and any release date estimates you see online are only guesses. Half-Life 2's publisher, Vivendi, previously tentatively gave an April 2004 date, but this seems unlikely. Valve refuses to comment. We hope to get a better idea of the game's status at E3 2004 in May.
Valve, like most game producers, will push the release date off at least once before the game hits the shelves. We'll be lucky if we see HL2 in time for the 04 holidays.

Valve is the worst. I don't think HL2 is going to seem that great at the end of the year. There are many new games coming out and a lot more in development.

The release date was pushed off twice, then the game was leaked (and except for interface issues) most people agreed that the game seemed awfully close to finished.

Don't forget that Valve said they were definitely going to make the Sept. 30th release date and then delayed it again. I wouldn't care if they delayed it as much if they would stop lying.
