What do you all think of the new HR site design? What kind of load times do you get on what connections?

The new design looks fabulous! It's bright, well organized, and professional. Truly one of the best looking web hosting sites I have seen in awhile. I recall the last design as well, which was equally as eye pleasing, but this particular one loads a lot quicker for me.

Site looks very nice. However, on the forums, I don't understand the use of Flash. Even though it seems to be a pretty small file, those who don't have Flash will make the board load even slower.

Anyway, I'm not much of a fan of Flash navigation. Those who don't have Flash won't be able to navigate around.

( I do know that most people do have Flash, but still...)

The homepage stretches horizontally...also another pet peeve of mine. If I'm on a large resolution, it looks...off. Constrain it, make it look the same no matter what.

Overall the site gets a big A in my book. Easy to find info, which is important for your site. A professional site makes you look professional, but if people can't find what they are looking for (hosting plans) then it's pointless.

I think it is quite an excellant design. Only real trouble I ever had is I was browsing it over in Firebird and forgot to install Flash on Firebird so the image was just there which is cool although for a few mintues I didn't know what was going on when I tried clicking the community link and it didn't work. Maybe you could map that image?

I like the sound effects but I always forget about them and they always freak me out!!

I think the high-tech look of the site is very appropriate. Animations and sounds amuse many people, but the site manages to make it effective aswell.

The site comes up instantly, but because I have 10mb download I do not know if the site download is large or not. :p

Hmmm..... I'm surprised everyone likes the look and feel here. I've always found them extremely annoying and overly flashy. I literally scroll down a bit just so I can get all the stuff at the top off the screen.

but at the same time, those flash headers/nav menus are kinda trendy right now...

I like these kinds of design. subtile flash animations and a very professional overall look

I am on cable, load time is never an issue with me with the hostrocket sites. Looks pretty good, too, a bit less hunting around required to find things.
