Ok i have a question about approach to a particular design.
I am working on First Light Youth Ranch (http://www.firstlightyouthranch.org) webpage and because the organization just started operations and much is still in the development stages, which equates to me is a huge lack of content. In the past when i worked on other pages i allways had alot of content to work with, so it was easyer to think up a suitable design. But now it's different, so can anyone explain to me how to design a site that is abscent of content? Can give me some suggestions on my site to make it better?

Thanks

Hi there, guess you posted this a while back but seeing that you've had no responses I thought I'd give you my pennies worth.

I would sugest encapsulating the site and not making it 100%.

seeing that the frontpage hsa nothing. place the mission statement onto the frontpage.

change to a snas serif font times new roman looks pants e.g. verdana, arial, tahoma, can't think of any others at the mo

Whenever I design sites, I always fill in areas that I want content to be with Latin ( www.lipsum.com ). You can write stuff later to fill it in.

As for navigation and what not (how many pages the site will have), make the nav section expandable. If you don't know how many pages the site is going to have, design it so it will be easy to add items in the future.

i always take my designs and pop them in photoshop, its easy to modify it there, i take a screen shot and just mess around ith it, i suggest you try it!
