Hi,
Does anyone here know anything about Cascading Style Sheets. I have been told a good alternative to the frames currently on my site would be to use CSS, but I am clueless about CSS.

Can anyone help?

Scott

Good sources for CSS stuff (there are many many):

O'reilly HTML & XHTML (book)
Devshed.com
Webmonkey.com (good beginner tutorial online)

All kinds of stuff on the web I bet! Have fun,

Jeff

I know pretty much everything about CSS 1, and have based the entire layout of my site (http://sardonica.net - shameless plugs are fun) on it. just send me a email and i'll answer your question.

I would highly recommend "Cascading Style Sheets - Designing for the Web" 2nd edition by Hakon Wium Lie and Burt Bos. Lie is the guy who first proposed style sheets at the W3 and is now responsible for style sheets within the W3. Bos is also a member of the W3.

This book is a very easy read, has clear examples, and a good sense of humor. I figure the W3 is the authority on HTML and coding, so why not go directly to the source! I will probably adopt this book for my advanced web page design course in the fall.

ISBN 0-201-59625-3. Read the reviews at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0201596253/ .
