Two things:

1. I had no idea what your site was about 'till I looked around a bit and I now think it is related to Texas Instrument programmable calculators (boy is that a blast from the past - they still making those things?). I think that should be prominently displayed after or around the jamcalc.org logo.

2. Just below the logo and above the rest of the page is a dark bar with the date in it. The date, and whatever else is printed there, is black against the dark color of the bar and I didn't even notice any text at first.

Also, graphics and layout are not my thing. I am a programmer so take these suggestions as just that.

Good luck with your site.

Tom

Very clean layout, easy to read (except for the afore mentioned black text on the dark purple bg). A couple images here and there, maybe in the header would really pop it out and set the page off, though.

Don't forget to put a copyright footer on it. Nice page! You might want to put something descriptive at the top, too, like "My search engine" or something so people know why they are there. Can't be too obvious for people. ;)

i love the colors and pictures, i would add some more defined lines, maybe a little space to contrast other areas..

Nope I am getting that page too. Maybe it doesn't exist anymore it is a possibility. I remember reading something like that on CNN awhile back that about 70% of all internet websites are inactive.

Anyone know if that website exists anymore?

Holy cow, 70% of internet sites are inactive? That is a lot!

You might try searching on Google and then seeing if google has a cache of the site...

You need borders around the boxes. And the color boxes with health and home and all that around it, you need to center the words. but all and all it looks real nice.

so... in essense the critiques made during this years post-a-thon aren't directed toward kraftwerk, but to directnic. :P
