Well the title states what I am looking for. My site is on the small side right now, but is growing at a pretty good rate so the script will need to be easily expandable and upgradable based on the needs of the site. I am looking for a total price currently rather pay per hour, so please take this into consideration when responding.
All interested applicants please send an email to webmaster@gamerzersource.com with a quote and/or additional questions/concerns that will affect the final price.

Hello SnakeEyez,
Why dont you give some more specs here so we can give you better estimates in money and time.
Questions coming to my mind:
-You have a kind of database backend?
-You are already using template system? or you wanna convedrt everything to a template system( check out Smarty if you dont have one yet )?
-Do you have a documentation of your database & what has to be searched?
With the info you provide whatever I say would be a blind guess.

1. MySQL db
2. I have already converted my site to templates to make this process run smoother. (DreamWeaver created templates if that makes a difference)
3. Well I would like to have a drop-down menu with the search so that searches can be generalized making it quicker, but I would probably want one option to search everything.
Well hope this helps a little.

I'd be interested in developing this sort of thing for you.
Just to run through a few things for clarification.
Firstly, am I correct in assuming the following:
This script is for Gamerz Resource
You would want the reviews and forums to be searchable
You are currently using Dreamweaver templates to make your pages
What I would suggest would be a system as follows:
Reviews are stored in a database
Administration page would be set up to enter new reviews
Search script would give the choice of searching forums or reviews
Reviews would be displayed on site using a template but with data from database
If you are interested in my current work, I am developing a similar system for my site, and the beta version is at http://beta.gowansnet.com/fwh/tutorials
(Tutorials and articles are stored in a similar database system to the one I have described. Search function works on this site, (an example is at http://beta.gowansnet.com/fwh/search.php?query=xhtml)
If I have misunderstood any of your requirements or if you would like to make any other points about the sytem clearer, please post here.
If you would like me to develop the above script for you, please let me know, and I will send you a quote. (The quote will of course vary depending on the complexity of the script I am developing, so I can only give you an accurate price for the system I have outlined at the moment. If you want other features please let me know)

Well the forums don't have to be searchable. The only things I really want searchable are the guides. That is the content of the site really. I would want a drop-down menu to choose specific areas or they could choose to search everything. Although I have a downloads section, not done on the site (I am still working on that on my comp), which should be available. So as far as what you commented on I would like an administration page to add stuff in (and have it added to proper section. Also as output I would want a brief description of page, or excerpt from it. Well hope this clears it up a little bit.
